We hire independent trade contractors in every trade: framing, trim, tile, paint, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, concrete, and more, on new builds and remodels. If you do clean work, show up when you say you will, and carry your own insurance, we want to talk.
What you'll need
Gather these before you start. The application takes about 10 minutes.
Photos of your work
Up to 12 photos of finished jobs. Phone photos are fine.
General Liability certificate
Current COI, $1M per occurrence, naming W.E. Durham Construction as additional insured.
Workers' Comp
A COI if you carry it, or you'll acknowledge the Texas non-coverage statement in the form.
Auto insurance
Proof of coverage if you drive to job sites.
Government ID
Driver's license or other government-issued photo ID.
Trade license
Required for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and irrigation work in Texas.
Completed W-9
Download the IRS form, fill it in, and upload it. You'll receive a 1099-NEC at year end.
